The LightBench instrument from YourGeneHealth allows for precise automated size selection of nucleic acid samples and sequencing libraries. It is suitable for both, short-read and long-read sequencing samples.
Compared to the Pippin instruments, the size-selection workflow is more laborious on the LightBench, but it is also more precise and reliable. Thanks to the Ranger® technology, the migration of the sample during gel electrophoresis is continuously monitored and run parameters can be corrected if necessary.
Sequencing library size-selelction with the LightBench is our default and included in our PacBio HiFi sequencing library preparations.
